Authentic Storytelling

One of the most important marketing skills a Catholic vocations director and staff need is authentic storytelling.

At its core, vocations promotion isn’t about “selling” an idea—a vocation is awakened through real human witness. People connect with real, lived stories—the doubts, the struggles, the turning points, and the joy of saying yes to God.

When these stories are well told, three things happen: trust grows, the vocation becomes relatable to where a young man (or woman) may begin to see themselves living out this vocation and begin to discern their calling, and your message actually stands out in a noisy world.

Vocations Become Relatable

Your Message
Stands Out

Without this, even the best programs and theology can fall flat (it’s why Jesus’ parables are so powerful!). When sharing a real and relatable story, you help people see that everyone has a God given vocation, the question is what does He want for me.

The human journey, walked in faith, inspires and gives hope. Authentic stories of discernment are needed more than ever in the spaces where young people live and engage. We can help amplify these voices and bring their messages to life.
